Yonna S. Thil is a freelance costume designer / stylist working in Stockholm, Sweden.

Her background is in theatre and body modification and currently she works in film, tv, commercial, theatre and as a personal stylist. S. Thil is greatly motivated by the relationship between body, spatiality and identity which is always at the core of her work. She is committed to find sustainable methods while maintaining high artistic quality.   

S. Thil has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Theatre / Performance / Fashion Studies, focusing on costume design, dramaturgy, fashion history and identification through clothing and bodily practices from Stockholm University (SU). S. Thil also trained in color theory (NCS – Natural Color System), fashion illustration and textile materials at The Swedish School of Textiles (Textilhögskolan). She trained as a stylist at The Academy of Cutting and Tailoring (Tillskärarakademin), has completed free standing courses at Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH) and studied Textile – Art and Design at Löftadalens Folkhögskola.
